Ladies Night proves a real winner

Everyone was a winner as delegates and guests joined EEEGR for Ladies Night at Great Yarmouth races on the eve of its summer conference.

The 160 or so attending enjoyed a tremendous evening of fun, food, entertainment and social networking.

And as well as the spectacle of six enthralling races, there was the added attraction of the stunning ladies glammed-up in all their finery.

Mark Goodall, chairman of TMS client EEEGR, was the man in form with the horses, scooping the toteplacepot by naming six placed horses at odds of 223-1. And Holly Harvey, EEEGR events organiser, set the pace off the track by winning the Debenhams prize for the best dressed lady on the night.

“It was lovely to be chosen for the award when there were so many brilliant outfits both in the EEEGR Marquee and across the course,” said Holly. “But, more importantly, I’m truly delighted that everyone seemed to have a brilliant, relaxing evening.”

Richard Jenkins, of Amec, which sponsored the EEEGR event, welcomed guests who were also given advice on finding the winners by ‘guest tipster’ The Colonel, Kevan Minter.
