EEEGR active in the corridors of power

As a voice for the energy industry and a catalyst for its prosperous future, we want EEEGR (The East of England Energy Group) to be heard in all the right places.

So a 200-strong delegation to the House of Commons to be greeted by two Secretaries of State and a cluster of MPs proved a golden opportunity for them and allowed us to give them widespread publicity.

They made the best of the occasion to remind politicians of the strength and breadth of the region's energy assets and skills and the expertise and heritage of its supply chain.

Following on from Energy Minister Michael Fallon's visit to the EEEGR gala dinner earlier in the year, the group certainly feels it has the interest and support of Government in sending the region's message across the UK and into the wider energy world.
